World Book Day: Book review. Baby and Lion Dog

Baby and Lion Dog
As it was World Book Day yesterday, we decided to continue the book theme with our review of the lovely first book in the Baby and Lion Dog series.
The story follows Baby and Lion Dog as they go off on their adventures. In this first book their adventure takes them off to the circus to solve the mystery of the missing nose. The two heroes come across a very sad clown who can’t continue with his performance without his squishy red nose! Baby and Lion Dog have a lovely relationship, and the writing changes pace into rhyming prose as the adventurers try to solve the mystery.
Aimed at children from age 2 to around 7, it is a good length for a bedtime story, and will appeal to both boys and girls equally. My little fella, Peter (6) loves this playful story and I think it will be one of his bedtime favourites for a long time.
