  1. Here at last! I am now able to offer you the option of a custom PlayBag!

Although the wait time is a bit longer as each PlayBag is made to order, this new option allows you to choose the outer fabric, pocket options and the inner design.

    1: Outer Fabric

I have given some choices to give you an idea of the sort of fabrics I use, however if you do fancy something a bit different, let me know and I will see what I can source from my suppliers!

OK! So it doesn’t exactly feel like midsummer yet, but this Sunday is the Summer Solstice. In theory the day of the year where we get the most sunlight, although looking at the forecast, we may be a little disappointed! Another reason to celebrate this Sunday is its Father’s Day!! Double bonus! Regardless of the weather, we will be celebrating both with a family garden BBQ! And hopefully making the most of the long evening.

  3. I love designing. I also love reviewing and improving my designs. Seeing what works and what doesn’t. Quite often, what I think is a great idea, my tester (four year old Peter) will disagree and offer up ideas for improvements!

This week, I thought I would share with you the inspiration behind the current designs.

    “Original”

By now you should probably know (if you hadn’t guessed by the title), that this was based on my first PlayBag design. It wasn’t intended to be complicated. I just knew that it had to have a road, a bridge and a river. I also wanted these to flow off the mat so that the cars and boats or whatever, were not limited to just the mat. The Helipad also added in the extra value that other vehicles (not necessarily a helicopter) could land in. We have had all sorts land there! Also plenty creatures need rescuing from the little island.

The only things that have changed from this basic design are the colours and materials.

  4. To celebrate World Environment Day, I figured it would be a good time to have a good look at our eco credentials.

The theme for World Environment Day 2015 is:

“Seven Billion Dreams. One Planet. Consume with Care”.

It is encouraging people to rethink their lifestyle and make conscious decisions with what they consume to lessen their impact on nature’s resources. Obviously, we all have a part to play in this, and many small actions can make a big impact. So I have been looking at where I can make improvements in my life and work.
